"Our family has been coming to the beach in August since before dirt..Since they tore down the last cottages where we stayed... we have been at the glorious Sea Sprite.for over 10 years.....My mom and dad started this family tradition and my husband and I can't imagine not coming every August....Our children and grandchildren come up from someplace called California...and my 6 year old grandson talks about "his" cabin 5 all year long..This has become our second family home...with added features of the ocean breeze....the soothing hum of the ocean...the warm kid- friendly sand with hours of creative play.......the rock...(hope it doesn't move on us)..gatherings at the picnic tables while watching the sunsets....eating great beachy food...playing games...laughing. campfires on the beach...and enjoying our family times together as our hours in life speed by...
This week in August is our very favorite of all...."

"We stayed in #6, the Blue Heron Cottage, as it was the only option left when we booked. It is a 2-bedroom cottage and the only suite not directly on the ocean, but you can still hear and see the ocean from the living room and bedroom windows. Great property. The cottage was comfortable and equipped with a kitchen. Thoughtful amenities include a hairdryer, access to a washer/dryer, and corkscrew, in case you wish to enjoy a bottle of local wine on your picnic table. Very comfortable and relaxing!! Would highly recommend. We were very sad to leave."

Sea Sprite on the Estuary

"We have wanted to email you about your property we stayed at in July for the opening week.  We cannot tell you enough about how much we enjoyed both Cannon Beach and the Estuary.  Our kids still talk about the trip as the best and wish they could return.  The property you created was exquisite, the location quiet yet accessible to all of Cannon Beach. We stayed in room 24 on July 5 - 7.  The room had the perfect amenities and location to the beach was convenient.  We felt safe to the let the kids run along the beach, because they were right in our view from the room.  My wife as soon as see walked into the room knew this was going to be a vacation to remember.  As we left, regret filled our heads with, why did we not book the whole week.  We left knowing that we will return for another visit to the estuary.
 
We want to thank you for the unforgettable family experiences and memories in Cannon Beach.
 
We will definitely return in the next few years to Cannon Beach and have already spoke to friends that the Estuary is the place to stay.

"We just got back from our visit with our family and stayed at the brand new Estuary. We loved it! We had everything we needed available. The washer/dryer was great for beach days and the huge sunken tub was the perfect ending to days at the beach. We completely recommend the place to anyone who wants to be at the far side of the beach and away from the crowds. The housekeepers do an excellent job! So glad we decided to try this new property!"
